Terms of Use

These terms describe the agreement between you and Zach Highley LLC when you use the Hestya beta.

Last updated: July 28, 2026

Agreement to these terms

Hestya is operated by Zach Highley LLC. By accessing or using Hestya at gethestya.com, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use Hestya.

The Privacy Policy explains how Hestya handles personal data and is part of these terms.

Beta access and accounts

Hestya is a private, invite-only beta. Access is controlled by an allowlist and is not guaranteed, even if you can reach the sign-in page.

Sign-in is provided through Supabase Auth — with Google, or with an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in account secure and for activity under your Hestya account.

The Hestya service

Hestya helps you view personal information you choose to connect or create, including calendar events, unread mail summaries, bank balances and transactions, manual accounts and portfolio valuations, todos, captures, notes, routines and their check-ins, items from apps and feeds you connect, optional computer statistics, and a generated daily brief.

Hestya does not provide banking, financial, legal, medical, or other professional services. Information shown in Hestya is for your personal organization and should be checked against the original source before you rely on it.

Connected services

Connections are optional and initiated by you. Calendar and mail imports are read-only; if you separately grant calendar write access, Hestya can create only events you explicitly accept. Gmail access is currently limited to beta volunteers. Bank balance connections may use SimpleFIN or Plaid.

Apps and feeds are read-only with one exception you control: if you connect Slate, Hestya can send a link you submit to your Slate account to save it. Nothing is written to a connected service unless you take that action.

Your use of a connected service remains subject to that provider's own terms. Providers may change or interrupt their services, which can affect what Hestya can display. You can disconnect Google, bank, and app/feed connections in Settings at any time. Disconnecting deletes the connection's keys immediately. Disconnecting a bank also deletes its cached accounts, balances, and transactions (daily balance snapshots stay in your net-worth history until account deletion), and removing an app or feed deletes its cached items. Calendar events and mail summaries imported before a Google disconnect are retained and labeled by freshness until you delete your account.

Your content and data

You keep ownership of the notes, todos, captures, routines, manual money entries, and other content you create in Hestya. You give Zach Highley LLC permission to host and process that content only as needed to provide and operate Hestya.

During the beta, you may request an export of your Hestya data by emailing zach@zhighley.com. Please make an export request before requesting account deletion if you want to keep a copy.

AI-generated content

Hestya uses Anthropic's API to generate a daily brief from your own connected data. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train its models by default.

AI-generated content can be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing it and for decisions you make based on it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Hestya in violation of applicable law;
  • access another person's account or data without authorization;
  • interfere with, overload, probe, or bypass Hestya's security or access controls;
  • upload malicious code or use Hestya to harm another person or service; or
  • use automated means to access Hestya in a way that disrupts the beta or exceeds your authorized access.

Availability and changes

Hestya is under active development. We may add, change, pause, or remove features and may limit access while we maintain or secure the service. We do not promise that any feature, connection, or stored format will remain available.

Keep independent copies of information that you cannot afford to lose. You can request a data export during the beta by contacting us.

Beta disclaimer

Hestya is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

This is beta software. It may contain errors, lose a connection, display stale or inaccurate information, become unavailable, or otherwise break. We do not warrant that Hestya will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zach Highley LLC and its members, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, revenue, or opportunities, arising from or related to your use of or inability to use Hestya.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limitations, so some of the provisions above may not apply to you.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access to an account to protect Hestya or its users, respond to legal requirements, enforce these terms, or manage the private beta.

You may stop using Hestya at any time. Google and bank connections disconnect in Settings; computer statistics stop when your device stops sending them, and the owner-only SSOT bridge is managed outside Settings. To request full account deletion during the beta, email zach@zhighley.com.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Zach Highley LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Hestya changes. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of Hestya after updated terms take effect means you accept the updated terms.
